I made a DW using the label format, but the background format can only be the default white, which is very dazzling. I hope to change to a different color. Although other background colors are selected in DW, the real display is still white. May I ask everyone Is there any good way to modify this background color?
In addition, how can the distance of the label from the left not be modified? It does not work whether it is modified at design time or dynamically.

How can I not modify the distance of the label from the left?

In the properties' Print Specifications
Left Margin and other genres are OK to modify the value.

DW back color can also be modified, click in the blank space, do not select the control, and then
Color property in General tab
If you want to modify the color of the control in DW, you need to select the control, and then in FONT
The property changes the font color and back color of the control.

You have found the problem,

The next step is to analyze the problem.
Apparently you dw_1.describe ("DataWindow.Print.preview")
Will get yes, obviously it ’s because dw is in the state of royal viewing,
The background color you see in the royal state is not the color you designed.
It's the color of the paper, which is pretty obvious.

Next to solve the problem,
Put a st or square under your label. Anyway, you can set the color.
Set the color and then you know what to do, I know you will feel dirt ...

tiger_mars():
Not in the preview state, but put a Dw control in an empty Window separately, and then the data window object used by the DW control is "DW in Label format", insert a few lines directly, and then you will know if you look at the effect Too.
As for what you said, put an ST under DW, this method is also OK. The key is that the place where there is no label is still white. It can only be set inside the label. Is there any other way?

You did n’t understand what I meant, that is, you put a Dw control alone in your empty Window,
You use dw_1.describe ("DataWindow.Print.preview")
You will still find it is yes.
1 you don't have spacing
2 Insert blank lines where there is no
If you patch it, how can you fix it ...

you cannot put/change any background datawindow properties for label type datawindow,
if you want color on your label background, just add rectangle with color
and sendtoback of your label column
but it only color for the label region, not the whole page bachground
