Which picture control in VB supports GIF format pictures? I tried both the PICTUREBOX and IMAGE controls, and the animation did not move.

VB6 does not support GIF format pictures.
Use a third-party OCX.
It seems that there is one called GIF89.OCX

Picture1.Picture = LoadPicture ("D:\k119-48-00.gif")
The landlord did not explain the problem clearly, the picture control supports gif format pictures.

GIF89.dll is downloaded, it works well. But I found that as soon as I registered it, I registered a rogue software called network pig, and brought rogue software, what should I do? And a rogue software does not delete such a control. Okay, I have to re-register, irritating,

Using the WebBrowser1 control, I made a form FrmSplash, and placed a WebBrowser1 on it. As a separate form, the GIF can be opened normally, and the GIF picture can also be seen, but if it is placed in the LOAD event of another form FrmTest I found that the form could not be opened and not displayed. I don't know why?
The code in the LOAD event is as follows:
Private Sub Form_Load ()
 FrmSplash.show
 'FrmTest form load event to extract data from the database,
 unlaod FrmSplash
End Sub

The PICTUREBOX control can display GIF pictures and animations!
The method is: 1. Regard GIF animation as a media file;
        2. Use the playback function provided by the moving image playback library quartz.dll (under c:\windows\system32) provided by Windows to play;
        3. Play GIF animation in PICTUREBOX.

        I have done this, very convenient!
