page.init problem

The book says that page.init is only executed once, but I found that it actually runs every time I refresh
I made a dynamic control and placed it in page.init, but it didn’t come out if it was placed under ispostback=fasle in page.load? What's the matter with page.init?

Execute only once: Execute once in a life cycle of the page.

It runs every refresh: This is the characteristic of B/S program.

If you put it outside of ispostback=fasle, it’s okay. Refresh the content inside ispostback=fasle.
